Making a Booking

Please read very carefully the conditions as set out hereunder before making your booking. Your booking will be deemed acceptance of our conditions.

Once your booking has been made, and the booking deposit payment received (N.B. for bookings within 8 weeks of departure full payment is required) we issue a confirmation invoice, which forms the basis of the contract between us. If you have any queries you must contact me immediately.


Special Requests

Whilst such requests do not form a part of the contract between us and are not guaranteed I will do my utmost to assist you wherever possible.

I draw a distinction between Special Requirements which are items essential to your holiday enjoyment and Special Requests. If you advise me of a Special Requirement (e.g. extra bed, baby cot etc.) in writing at the time of making the booking, I will do my utmost to honour the Special Requirement. Special Requests must be communicated by email at the time of making the booking. I shall use reasonable endeavours to fulfil such requests. However Special Requirements and Special Requests cannot be guaranteed and do not form part of the Contract. No liability shall attach to me for failure to comply with a Special Request or Special Requirement.

Payment by you

A 50% payment must be made on booking and the balance of the holiday cost must be paid not less than 4 weeks before you travel. I do not send out reminders and you are responsible for making payment by the date shown on your invoice. I reserve the right to treat your booking as cancelled by you and impose cancellation charges if we do not receive full payment by the required date.

Force Majeure

Unless specifically stated I cannot accept liability or pay compensation where your holiday is prevented or affected by 'force majeure.' In these conditions 'force majeure' means any event which I or the supplier of a service could not, even with all due care, foresee or avoid. Such events may include war, threat of war, riot, civil strife. terrorist activity, industrial dispute, natural or nuclear disaster, adverse weather, fire, pandemic or similar events outside of our control.

Damage Deposits

  1. A refundable Damage Deposit is chargeable in addition to the rental fee. Your Damage Deposit may be withheld in whole or in part if an item of the contents of the property or the property itself is damaged.

  2. It may be withheld if there is excessive cleaning of the property after the client has departed. Clients are expected to leave the property in reasonable order.

My Responsibilities to you

  1. Mt responsibility to our clients only extends to my property and its rental. I do not consider myself responsible for any facility mentioned in my advertising other than my property. I also do not take responsibility for any other aspect of your stay in Spain.

  2. I undertake to provide the property fully equipped for use, including linen but not beach towels, and that a before and after maid service is included. I do not launder linen for clients during their stay at our villa.

Cancellation by You

If you need to cancel your holiday you should notify me in writing as early as possible.
